Jennifer moved to Alberta from Montreal in 1972. She attended Jasper Place Composite High School followed by the NAIT Dental Assisting Program in 1985.

She has an interest in travel and completed a Certified Travel Agent course in 1988. Jennifer started her career with Empire Orthodontics, and has been working with Dr. Knoefel ever since he started practicing in 1999. She has over 30 years of experience involving clinical assisting, treatment coordinating and implementation of digital orthodontics.

She is married with two very active boys who both play hockey and keep mom and dad very busy. Her other hobbies include walking, cycling and travelling.

Khurram grew up in Edmonton and has called it home since the age of six. A lifelong fan of hockey and soccer, he now finds joy coaching his sons’ soccer team and spending time with his wife and two boys.

After completing dental school in Pakistan, Khurram pursued a Master’s degree at McGill University, where he focused his research on the impact of temporomandibular disorders (TMD) in adolescents. Over time, his passion evolved toward the business side of dentistry — combining practice management, team leadership, implementing software and technology to help clinics thrive.

Khurram brings a unique blend of clinical knowledge and operational expertise to the team, always striving to create systems that elevate both patient care and team performance.

Estela was born in El Salvador and has lived in Edmonton since she was 7 years old. She has been in the administrative field for over 20 years and loves working with the public. Estela is able to assist us with our Spanish speaking patients.

She is married with 2 beautiful children and loves watching her kids play sports. Estela enjoys traveling, hiking and working out with her husband and she is a huge basketball fan. Go Golden State Go! And Oilers! And Dallas Cowboys (only when her husband makes her).

Nicole was born and raised in Switzerland and is fluent in Swiss and High German. She came to Oasis as our New Patient Care Coordinator. She has a medical field background and loves to take care of our patients.

Nicole is married with two active teenage boys and 2 beautiful rescue kitties. She enjoys being outdoors and loves to spend time on her yoga mat.

Oshelene brings genuine warmth and vibrant energy to every patient interaction. Outside of work, she enjoys Jollof rice with peppered turkey, dreams of exploring Seychelles and Dubai, and expresses her creativity through her rich soprano voice, shaped by years of choral singing.

Matasin brings precision and care to every financial detail. She’s a big fan of Italian cuisine, especially gnocchi and risotto, and dreams of a road trip through Italy filled with delicious food, rich history, and great coffee. Fun fact: despite proudly calling herself clumsy, she’s never broken a bone!

A true Caesar salad enthusiast, Zena dreams of one day wandering the streets of Japan, soaking in the culture and cuisine. A fun fact about her—she was born on New Year’s Eve, so every year ends with a celebration (and cake)!

Renee has been a Dental Assistant and Treatment Coordinator at Oasis Orthodontics since February 2013. She is fluent in both French and English.

Renee grew up in New Brunswick where she graduated from Oulton’s College with honors in 2005. She then attended Holland College to obtain her Orthodontic Module, as well as Vancouver Community College for additional training in chair side skills.

Renee enjoys crocheting, painting and sewing in her spare time. She likes to spend time outdoors hiking, fishing, hunting and camping with her husband and 3 dogs.

Anahi lived in Mexico for 16 years, moved to Edmonton and finished high school. She worked as a hairstylist/aesthetician for 10 years and loved working with people but it was time for a change. Did upgrading and went to Nait where she graduated from Dental Assisting May 2018. Started at Oasis Sept. 18th.

When she’s not at Oasis or the hair salon she works out with her mom and finacè, she love to relax with her family plus 2 chihuahuas and watch TV series/movies, as well as spend time with family and friends.

Sarah has been with Oasis since December 2019. She graduated from the NAIT dental assisting program in 2018 and found a love for orthodontics.

In her spare time Sarah loves going to the gym, spending time with her husband and pitbull Mya, snowboarding in the mountains, and spending time outdoors.

Agnieszka graduated from Nait’s dental assisting program in 2019. After graduating she went straight into the Orthodontics field and loves it!

Agnieszka was born in Poland but grew up in Edmonton. She is married with 2 boys and loves spending time with friends and family out at the lake.

Pending

Tenille graduated from NAIT in 2013 and received her Orthodontic module from U of A in 2015. She was part of the Oasis team from 2016-2021. After taking some time off to be at home with her little ones, she decided to return to work in January 2025 and was happy to be able to return to Oasis.

In between spending time with her husband and three beautiful boys, she loves to bake delicious goodies and sew herself beautiful dresses. She also enjoys gardening, reading, and thrifting. She hopes to one day own a cottage on an acreage in the country.

Originally from the Philippines, Hershey moved to Canada in October 2008 and earned her Dental Assisting certificate from KDM College in September 2018. Outside of work, she enjoys baking, cooking, hiking, and cherishing time with family and friends. A passionate foodie, she especially loves Filipino and Japanese cuisine—kare-kare is her favorite dish. Her ultimate dream is to travel the world and experience its many cultures.

Stefania has been an RDT since April 2011, graduating from NAIT, and working in the orthodontic field since then. She has been with Oasis Orthodontics since August 2019.

Stefania is fluent in both English and Ukrainian and spends her days off, keeping busy, with her family, husband and 3 kids.

Arriane keeps our clinic running seamlessly behind the scenes. A fan of Cajun seafood, she dreams of exploring the breathtaking landscapes of Switzerland. She also playfully admits she still hasn’t mastered parallel parking—but we’re not judging!
